Overview

BGB-B3227 + tislelizumab is an investigational antibody-based combination therapy currently under clinical evaluation for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors with high MUC1 expression. BGB-B3227 is a humanized immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1) monoclonal antibody (modality specified in clinical trial records) whose precise target has not yet been publicly disclosed in the available literature; however, it is being tested for anti-tumor effects, including use as a monotherapy and in combination with tislelizumab, an anti-PD-1 checkpoint inhibitor antibody. Tislelizumab acts by blocking the Programmed death-1 receptor (PD-1) and potentiates the immune response against tumor cells. The combination is evaluated to maximize antitumor efficacy, potentially by combining direct tumor-targeting (BGB-B3227) with immune checkpoint blockade (tislelizumab). Early clinical trials also evaluate the regimen with chemotherapy in some cohorts.
