Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**BI-1808 + pembrolizumab** is an investigational combination therapy of two monoclonal antibodies for cancer treatment. **BI-1808** is a fully human IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets tumor necrosis factor receptor 2 (**TNFR2**), blocking its interaction with TNF-α and depleting regulatory T-cells (Tregs), which leads to enhanced anti-tumor immune responses. **Pembrolizumab** is a programmed death 1 (**PD-1**) checkpoint inhibitor that blocks the inhibitory PD-1 pathway on immune cells, thereby promoting an immune-mediated anti-tumor effect. The combination is being evaluated for efficacy and safety in patients with advanced solid malignancies and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (**CTCL**), including mycosis fungoides and Sézary syndrome[1][3][5]. Early clinical trials suggest it is well tolerated with promising antitumor activity[1][5].
