bifidobacterium animalis + lactobacillus plantarum is a probiotic combination therapy being evaluated for the prevention and treatment of recurrent respiratory tract infections (RRTI), particularly in pediatric populations. Developed in clinical research settings such as Chengdu Women and Children's Central Hospital, this microbial therapy functions via the gut-lung axis to enhance the host's immune defense.
