Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BIO-THREE is a probiotic formulation developed and manufactured by TOA Biopharma. It contains three symbiotic active bacterial strains: Enterococcus faecium T-110, Clostridium butyricum TO-A, and Bacillus subtilis TO-A. These strains work synergistically to normalize the intestinal flora, promote the growth of beneficial bacteria (such as Bifidobacterium), and inhibit pathogenic microorganisms. Approved as a prescription drug in Japan since 1963, BIO-THREE is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal symptoms associated with dysbiosis, including constipation, diarrhea, and abdominal distension. It is also widely used as an over-the-counter (OTC) product, a veterinary feed additive, and a dietary supplement.
