Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Biropepimut-S + cyclophosphamide is a combination investigational therapy for cancer, specifically studied to prevent recurrence of high-risk squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity. Biropepimut-S (GL-0817) is a cancer vaccine composed of engineered peptides derived from the tumor-associated antigen MAGE-A3, designed to stimulate a strong immune response against MAGE-A3-positive cancer cells. Cyclophosphamide is a cytotoxic and immunomodulatory agent, used here at low doses to enhance vaccine effectiveness by depleting regulatory T cells, thereby improving immune activity. This combination aims to boost the body’s immune response following standard chemoradiotherapy, reducing the risk of cancer recurrence in high-risk patients[1][5][7].
