This is a combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of four cytotoxic agents—bleomycin, vincristine, methotrexate, and prednisone. Each drug has a distinct mechanism of action: - **Bleomycin** is an antitumor antibiotic that induces DNA strand breaks. - **Vincristine** is a vinca alkaloid that inhibits microtubule formation in mitosis. - **Methotrexate** is an antimetabolite and antifolate agent that inhibits dihydrofolate reductase, blocking DNA synthesis. - **Prednisone** is a synthetic glucocorticoid with lympholytic effects.
