This combination is used to treat immature permanent teeth with necrotic pulp. The procedure involves inducing apical bleeding to fill the root canal with blood, followed by the placement of a PRF membrane, which is a second-generation platelet concentrate rich in growth factors and cytokines. This bioactive scaffold promotes the migration and differentiation of stem cells from the periapical tissues, aiming to achieve root maturation and pulp-dentin complex regeneration. The treatment is typically completed with a coronal seal using a bioceramic material such as Biodentine.
