BMS-663513 acts as an agonist for CD137, providing a costimulatory signal to T cells that enhances interferon-gamma production and cytolytic activity, potentiating anti-tumor immunity[1][3]. Paclitaxel disrupts microtubule dynamics, inhibiting cell division, while carboplatin crosslinks DNA, causing apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells[2][4]. The combination has been evaluated for synergistic effects in advanced solid tumors, particularly aiming to enhance immunotherapy efficacy with cytotoxic chemotherapy[1][5].
