Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**BMS-986148 + nivolumab** is an investigational combination therapy comprising BMS-986148, a mesothelin-directed antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), and nivolumab, an immune checkpoint inhibitor targeting programmed death-1 (PD-1). BMS-986148 delivers a cytotoxic tubulysin payload to mesothelin-expressing tumor cells, disrupting microtubule polymerization and inducing cell death; nivolumab blocks PD-1-mediated immune inhibition, enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. The combination aims to provide synergistic antitumor efficacy by directly killing tumor cells via the ADC and simultaneously boosting the immune system by relieving PD-1-mediated suppression. It is being developed for advanced solid tumors including mesothelioma, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, and gastric cancer[1][2][3].
