BMS-986235 + bupropion

BMS-986235 + bupropion is an **experimental combination** of two small molecule drugs: BMS-986235, a selective formyl peptide receptor 2 (FPR2) agonist, and bupropion, a norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor (NDRI). BMS-986235 is under investigation to promote resolution of inflammation and improve cardiac healing following myocardial infarction, by activating FPR2 to modulate macrophage phenotype and support tissue repair. Bupropion is an antidepressant agent that inhibits reuptake of norepinephrine and dopamine, and is also a strong inhibitor of cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6). Clinical research to date includes a withdrawn Phase 1 trial in healthy volunteers assessing the pharmacokinetic interactions and safety when BMS-986235 was co-administered with bupropion, among other agents. There is currently **no evidence** that this combination is a marketed product, and it should be regarded as an investigational research regimen, not an approved fixed-dose combination.
