Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**BNT162b2 + BNT162b2 OMI** is an investigational bivalent mRNA COVID-19 vaccine developed by BioNTech and Pfizer. The 60 µg booster formulation evaluated in Substudy F of the Phase 3 C4591031 master protocol contains 30 µg of original-strain BNT162b2 mRNA and 30 µg of Omicron BA.1-adapted BNT162b2 OMI mRNA. Both mRNAs are delivered in lipid nanoparticles and encode SARS-CoV-2 spike antigens, inducing neutralizing antibodies and cellular immune responses intended to broaden protection against ancestral SARS-CoV-2 and the Omicron BA.1 variant.
