The combination of bovine hydroxyapatite and secretome is an investigational regenerative therapy designed to enhance bone repair in clinical scenarios such as alveolar ridge preservation and sinus augmentation. The product integrates a bovine-derived hydroxyapatite scaffold, a well-established osteoconductive xenograft that provides a stable structural framework, with a secretome—typically a standardized, lyophilized Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) conditioned medium known as Lyosecretome. The secretome acts as an osteoinductive component, delivering a physiological cocktail of growth factors, cytokines, and extracellular vesicles (exosomes) that stimulate angiogenesis and the differentiation of progenitor cells into osteoblasts. This dual-action approach aims to overcome the limitations of traditional bone grafts by providing both the necessary physical environment and the biochemical signaling required for efficient tissue regeneration without the complexities and risks associated with living cell transplantation.
