Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Brentuximab vedotin + tislelizumab is a combination of two anticancer agents used in investigational regimens for hematologic malignancies, particularly lymphomas. Brentuximab vedotin is an antibody-drug conjugate composed of a chimeric anti-CD30 monoclonal antibody linked to the microtubule-disrupting agent monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE). It binds to CD30 on tumor cells, is internalized, and releases MMAE intracellularly to disrupt microtubules and induce apoptosis[1][6]. Tislelizumab is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor on T cells, blocking its interaction with PD-L1/PD-L2 and enhancing antitumor immune responses[2]. The combination leverages direct cytotoxicity against CD30+ lymphoma cells and immune checkpoint inhibition.
