Bria-PROS+ is a next-generation, off-the-shelf, cell-based immunotherapy developed for the treatment of prostate cancer. It is designed to activate both innate and adaptive immune responses against tumor cells by expressing cancer antigens and modulating immune cell activity. The therapy stimulates helper T cells (CD4+), cytotoxic T cells (CD8+), natural killer (NK) cells, and NKT cells, enhancing their ability to recognize and kill prostate cancer cells. Engineered to express co-stimulatory molecules and immunomodulatory cytokines such as CD86, Interleukin 12, NKG2D ligand, and Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), Bria-PROS+ aims to overcome tumor immune evasion mechanisms like HLA class I loss. The product is intended for personalized yet ready-to-use administration via intradermal injection in a physician’s office setting. Developed by BriaCell Therapeutics Corp., it is currently advancing toward clinical trials for prostate cancer[1][4][5][6][7][8].
