BST08 + pembrolizumab

BST08 + pembrolizumab is a combination immunotherapy regimen being investigated for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). BST08 is an autologous cell therapy developed by BioSyngen, which involves the expansion of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) or similar immune cells derived from the patient's own tumor tissue. Pembrolizumab (Keytruda) is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) receptor on T cells. By blocking the interaction between PD-1 and its ligands (PD-L1 and PD-L2), pembrolizumab prevents the suppression of T-cell activity, thereby enhancing the immune system's ability to recognize and destroy cancer cells. This combination therapy is specifically being tested in patients without driver mutations who have progressed after second-line systemic therapy, including prior anti-PD-1/L1 treatments.
