Buparlisib + capmatinib is a combination of two targeted therapies. Capmatinib (INC280) is an oral, small molecule inhibitor of c-MET (mesenchymal-epithelial transcription factor), while buparlisib (BKM120) is an oral, pan-class I PI3K inhibitor. This combination was investigated for the treatment of recurrent glioblastoma with homozygous phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN) deletion, mutation, or protein loss.
