Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Navasol (also known as Navasol Vet) is a veterinary metabolic stimulant and tonic developed by Navana Pharmaceuticals. It is a co-formulated injectable solution containing butaphosphan, an organic phosphorus compound, and cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12). Butaphosphan acts as an anabolic agent and metabolic stimulant that enhances ATP cycling, supports liver function, and promotes gluconeogenesis. Cyanocobalamin serves as an essential cofactor for methionine synthase and methylmalonyl-CoA mutase, which are critical for protein, carbohydrate, and lipid metabolism, as well as erythropoiesis. Navasol is indicated for livestock and poultry to treat malnutrition, poor growth, debility, convalescence, and metabolic disorders, and to boost resistance under stress conditions.
