Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Buzhong Yiqi Tang + Tao Hong Si Wu Tang is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal combination that merges two classic formulas: Buzhong Yiqi Tang (designed to tonify the middle jiao, benefit qi, and raise sunken yang) and Tao Hong Si Wu Tang (designed to tonify and activate blood while dispelling blood stasis). This combination is primarily utilized in TCM clinical practice to treat conditions characterized by the dual syndrome of qi deficiency and blood stasis. It is frequently investigated or used in supportive care for post-operative recovery (such as after total knee arthroplasty or hip fractures) to improve immune and coagulation functions, as well as for chronic conditions like constipation, dizziness, or varicose veins presenting with matching TCM patterns.
