Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cadonilimab + paclitaxel + carboplatin is a combination therapy that pairs a novel bispecific antibody with standard chemotherapy. Cadonilimab is a tetravalent bispecific antibody targeting both PD-1 and CTLA-4 immune checkpoints with an Fc-null design that eliminates antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and phagocytosis, enhancing safety. Paclitaxel is a taxane chemotherapy that stabilizes microtubules and prevents cell division. Carboplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapy that forms DNA crosslinks. This combination has shown promising efficacy in clinical trials for cervical cancer, with significantly prolonged progression-free survival compared to chemotherapy alone.
