Overview

A combination of cafedrine, theodrenaline, and urapidil that was investigated in clinical trial NCT01311414 for its effects on cerebral oxygenation. Cafedrine is a chemical linkage of norephedrine and theophylline, while theodrenaline is formed from theophylline and noradrenaline. The cafedrine/theodrenaline component (typically in a 20:1 ratio) is known to increase mean arterial pressure by enhancing cardiac preload, stroke volume, and cardiac output.
