Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Calcium hydrogen phosphate + ergocalciferol is an oral combination therapy consisting of calcium hydrogen phosphate, a mineral salt providing elemental calcium and phosphorus, and ergocalciferol (vitamin D2). Developed and marketed by Henan Bainian Kangxin Pharmaceutical, this product is indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiencies, as well as associated bone disorders such as osteoporosis, rickets, and osteomalacia. Vitamin D2 acts as an agonist at the vitamin D receptor, facilitating the intestinal absorption of calcium and maintaining phosphate homeostasis, which are critical for bone mineralization and skeletal health.
