A combination dental therapeutic product containing **calcium sodium phosphosilicate** (CSPS, marketed as NovaMin) and **sodium fluoride** used primarily in oral care formulations, notably toothpastes and prophylaxis pastes, for the reduction of dental hypersensitivity, remineralization of tooth structure, and cavity prevention. CSPS acts by releasing calcium and phosphate ions in response to moisture which precipitate to form a hydroxycarbonate apatite-like layer on exposed dentin tubules, resulting in physical occlusion and reduced hypersensitivity[2][3]. Sodium fluoride delivers fluoride ions that promote remineralization and inhibit demineralization, increasing acid resistance and providing cavity protection[1][3]. The combination offers both immediate sensitivity relief and long-term enamel protection when used regularly. Main indications are **dentine hypersensitivity** and **dental caries prevention**[2][3].
