Camizestrant + saruparib is an investigational combination therapy being developed for hormone receptor-positive (HR+), HER2-negative advanced breast cancer. Camizestrant is an orally bioavailable, next-generation selective estrogen receptor degrader (SERD) and complete estrogen receptor (ER) antagonist with activity in both ESR1 mutant and wild type settings. Saruparib (AZD5305) is a potent and selective inhibitor of PARP1 with minimal effect on PARP2. This combination is being evaluated in clinical trials, particularly for patients with BRCA1, BRCA2, or PALB2 mutations.
