Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Klosterfrau Franzbranntwein Latschenkiefer is a traditional, alcohol-based topical solution formulated with racemic camphor and ethanol as active ingredients. It is enriched with essential oils, including mountain pine (Latschenkiefer) oil, lemon oil, nutmeg oil, peppermint oil, and rosemary oil, which act as excipients to support its therapeutic effects. The solution is indicated to promote local skin blood circulation, prevent the risk of bedsores (decubitus), and support the treatment of strains, bruises, sprains, and muscle and joint pain. Upon application, it provides an immediate cooling sensation followed by a warming, stimulating effect that helps relax muscles and alleviate localized pain.
