Korodin (camphor + hawthorn berry extract) is a herbal combination drug developed by Robugen GmbH for the treatment of hypotension, specifically orthostatic (postural) hypotension. It consists of D-camphor (2.5%) and a liquid extract of fresh hawthorn berries (Crataegus spp., 97.3%). The product is formulated as oral drops and is intended to act on the cardiovascular system to raise blood pressure and improve cerebral blood flow. Beyond its cardiovascular indications, Korodin has been studied for its potential to improve cognitive and mental functions, such as attention and logical thinking, in patients with chronic low blood pressure. It has undergone multiple Phase 3 clinical trials in Germany.
