camrelizumab + azacitidine + donor lymphocyte infusion is a combination therapeutic regimen being investigated by The First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University for the treatment of relapsed Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). The regimen combines camrelizumab, a monoclonal antibody targeting the Programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) checkpoint, with azacitidine, a hypomethylating agent, and low-dose donor lymphocyte infusion (DLI). Azacitidine is utilized to upregulate the expression of tumor-associated antigens and HLA molecules, potentially enhancing the immunogenicity of leukemic cells. Camrelizumab is intended to reverse T-cell exhaustion and reinvigorate the anti-tumor activity of the infused donor lymphocytes. This synergistic approach aims to maximize the graft-versus-leukemia (GVL) effect to induce remission in patients with post-transplant relapse while carefully managing the risk of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD).
