Overview
This is a combination of multiple immune checkpoint inhibitors (camrelizumab, nivolumab, pembrolizumab, sintilimab, tislelizumab) and platinum-based chemotherapy agents (carboplatin, cisplatin). The PD-1 inhibitors in this combination (camrelizumab, nivolumab, pembrolizumab, sintilimab, tislelizumab) work by blocking the interaction between PD-1 and PD-L1, which activates the immune system to kill cancer cells. Carboplatin and cisplatin are platinum-based chemotherapy drugs that work by damaging DNA in cancer cells, preventing them from dividing and growing.
