Camrelizumab + cetuximab is an investigational combination therapy consisting of two monoclonal antibodies with distinct mechanisms of action. Camrelizumab is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor on T cells, acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance antitumor immune responses. Cetuximab is a chimeric (mouse/human) IgG1 monoclonal antibody that binds to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), blocking ligand binding and downstream signaling pathways involved in tumor cell proliferation and survival. This combination has been studied primarily in patients with RAS wild-type metastatic colorectal cancer who have previously received anti-EGFR-based therapies. Early-phase clinical studies suggest this regimen may offer promising antitumor activity and manageable toxicity as a late-line treatment option for these patients[1][3].
