This combination therapy consists of the anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody **camrelizumab** (also known as SHR-1210), the hypomethylating agent **decitabine**, and various **chemotherapy** regimens. The regimen was primarily investigated by Dr. Weidong Han at the Chinese PLA General Hospital to treat relapsed or refractory malignancies. Camrelizumab functions as a checkpoint inhibitor by blocking the PD-1 receptor on T cells, thereby restoring anti-tumor immune activity. Decitabine, a DNA methyltransferase inhibitor, is used at low doses to 'prime' the tumor microenvironment, potentially increasing the expression of tumor antigens and MHC molecules to enhance the efficacy of the immunotherapy. This triple combination approach aims to overcome resistance to standard PD-1 blockade in both hematologic malignancies, such as Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and various solid tumors including lung, breast, and gastrointestinal cancers.
