Camrelizumab (SHR-1210) is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor. By binding to PD-1 on T cells and blocking its interaction with PD-L1 and PD-L2 on tumor cells, camrelizumab restores T-cell activity against cancer cells[1][4][8]. It is developed by Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine and co-developed with Incyte Biosciences[4][8]. Camrelizumab has been approved in China for recurrent/refractory classical Hodgkin's lymphoma and is under investigation for various solid tumors including hepatocellular carcinoma, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, among others[2][5][6][8]. The combination described here includes docetaxel (a microtubule inhibitor chemotherapy agent) and nedaplatin (a platinum-based chemotherapy agent), both of which are small molecule chemotherapeutics commonly used in the treatment of various cancers.
