Camrelizumab + gemcitabine + nab-paclitaxel is a combination chemo-immunotherapy regimen being evaluated for the treatment of metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). The combination consists of camrelizumab (SHR-1210), a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed death-1 (PD-1) receptor to enhance anti-tumor immune responses; gemcitabine, a nucleoside analog that interferes with DNA synthesis; and nab-paclitaxel (albumin-bound paclitaxel), a microtubule inhibitor that promotes tubulin polymerization and stabilizes microtubules. This triplet therapy is currently being investigated in a Phase I clinical trial at RenJi Hospital as a first-line treatment strategy, aiming to improve clinical outcomes in patients with advanced pancreatic cancer by combining immune checkpoint blockade with standard cytotoxic chemotherapy.
