Camrelizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor, functioning as an immune checkpoint inhibitor. By blocking PD-1 on T and B lymphocytes and natural killer cells, it prevents interaction with PD-L1 expressed on tumor cells, thereby activating the immune system to mount an anti-tumor response[1][2][5]. GSC-DCV refers to a dendritic cell vaccine pulsed with glioblastoma stem-like cell antigens. The combination of camrelizumab and GSC-DCV is being investigated as a neoadjuvant therapy for recurrent glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), aiming to enhance anti-tumor immunity by both inhibiting immune checkpoints and stimulating tumor-specific T-cell responses through personalized vaccination[3][6][8].
