Camrelizumab + lenvatinib is a combination therapy that pairs a PD-1 inhibitor (camrelizumab) with a multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor (lenvatinib). Lenvatinib inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR1-3), fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFR1-4), platelet-derived growth factor receptor-alpha (PDGFRα), KIT, and RET, effectively controlling tumor cell proliferation and inhibiting angiogenesis. Camrelizumab specifically binds to PD-1 expressed on T cells and B lymphocytes, blocking PD-1/PD-L1 interaction and relieving T-cell immunosuppression, thus enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. This combination has shown promising efficacy for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma, particularly with portal vein tumor thrombus.
