camrelizumab + nimotuzumab

Camrelizumab + nimotuzumab is a combination of two monoclonal antibodies used in investigational and off-label settings for the treatment of certain cancers. Camrelizumab is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor on T cells, acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance antitumor immune responses. Nimotuzumab is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) on tumor cells; it blocks ligand binding and receptor activation, inhibiting cell proliferation and angiogenesis while also stimulating immune-mediated cytotoxicity. The combination has shown promising efficacy and tolerable safety in clinical studies for advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and recurrent cervical cancer with positive PD-L1 and EGFR expression[1][2][3][4]. Both agents are being studied together primarily in patients who have failed standard therapies or are unsuitable for chemoradiotherapy.
