camrelizumab + paclitaxel + carboplatin

This therapeutic regimen consists of the PD-1 inhibitor camrelizumab combined with a chemotherapy doublet of paclitaxel and a platinum agent (either carboplatin or nedaplatin). It is currently being evaluated in a Phase II clinical trial led by The First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University as an induction therapy for patients with unresectable, locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). The treatment strategy involves two cycles of induction chemoimmunotherapy, followed by concurrent radiotherapy with two additional cycles of the same regimen, and finally maintenance immunotherapy with camrelizumab for up to one year. The goal is to improve the efficacy of definitive radiotherapy through synergistic immune activation and tumor debulking.
