This investigational combination therapy, being studied by Harbin Medical University, is a triple-regimen treatment for triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). It consists of camrelizumab, a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor to restore T-cell mediated anti-tumor immune responses; risedronate sodium, a bisphosphonate that inhibits farnesyl pyrophosphate synthase (FDPS) within the mevalonate pathway to remodel the tumor immune microenvironment and exert direct anti-proliferative effects; and a chemotherapy backbone (such as TAC or AC-T). The combination is designed to synergistically enhance objective response rates and overcome immune resistance in patients with TNBC by combining immune checkpoint blockade with metabolic modulation.
