camrelizumab + rivoceranib

AiRuiKa + Aitan is a combination regimen consisting of camrelizumab (AiRuiKa), a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), and rivoceranib (Aitan, also known as apatinib), an oral small-molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) that selectively targets vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR-2). Developed by Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine and Elevar Therapeutics (a subsidiary of HLB), this combination therapy is designed to exert synergistic antitumor effects by simultaneously blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 immune checkpoint pathway and inhibiting tumor angiogenesis. In January 2023, the combination was approved in China as a first-line treatment for unresectable or metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). It is also being evaluated in clinical trials for other solid tumors, including gastric cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
