Camrelizumab + SOX is a combination therapy consisting of the anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody camrelizumab and the chemotherapy regimen known as SOX (S-1 plus oxaliplatin). Camrelizumab is an immune checkpoint inhibitor that targets programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), thereby enhancing T-cell mediated antitumor immunity. The SOX regimen includes S-1, an oral fluoropyrimidine derivative that inhibits thymidylate synthase to disrupt DNA synthesis in cancer cells, and oxaliplatin, a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent that induces DNA crosslinking and apoptosis. This combination has been investigated primarily as first-line treatment for advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma (G/GEJ), particularly in HER2-negative patients. Clinical studies have shown promising efficacy with manageable safety profiles[2][3][6][8].
