Camrelizumab + SOX + radiotherapy is a combination therapy used primarily in the treatment of advanced or locally advanced gastric cancer, gastroesophageal junction cancer, and esophageal cancer. Camrelizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. The SOX regimen consists of S-1 (an oral fluoropyrimidine derivative) and oxaliplatin (a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent), both of which inhibit DNA synthesis and cell division in tumor cells. Radiotherapy uses ionizing radiation to damage the DNA of cancer cells directly. This combination aims to maximize anti-tumor efficacy by integrating immunotherapy with chemotherapy and local tumor control via radiation[3][4][5][6]. Camrelizumab was developed by Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine.
