Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Camrelizumab + TPF is a combination therapy consisting of the anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody camrelizumab and a chemotherapy regimen known as TPF. Camrelizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 receptor (PD‑1) on immune cells, blocking its interaction with PD-L1 to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. The TPF regimen typically includes docetaxel, cisplatin, and either capecitabine or 5-fluorouracil; it acts by inhibiting cell division through multiple cytotoxic mechanisms. This combination has been studied as induction chemoimmunotherapy for locally advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), including hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma and nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Camrelizumab is developed by Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals and marketed in China under the brand name AiRuiKa for several cancers. The combination aims to improve response rates by leveraging both immunotherapy (camrelizumab) and cytotoxic chemotherapy (TPF)[1][2][3][4][6].
