capecitabine + epirubicin + pegfilgrastim

This is a combination therapy consisting of two chemotherapy agents (capecitabine and epirubicin) with a supportive medication (pegfilgrastim). Capecitabine is an oral fluoropyrimidine that is converted to 5-fluorouracil in tumor tissues. Epirubicin is an anthracycline antibiotic that inhibits DNA and RNA synthesis. Together, these agents are used in the treatment of various cancers, particularly breast cancer. Pegfilgrastim is a long-acting form of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) that stimulates the production of neutrophils to reduce the risk of infection in patients receiving myelosuppressive chemotherapy.
