A four-drug oncology regimen combining the oral fluoropyrimidine prodrug capecitabine, the platinum agent oxaliplatin, and two monoclonal antibodies—bevacizumab (anti-VEGF) and trastuzumab (anti-HER2). Mechanistically, it integrates cytotoxic chemotherapy (DNA damage and thymidylate synthase inhibition) with targeted anti-angiogenic therapy and HER2 blockade. Clinically, XELOX/CAPOX plus bevacizumab is established for metastatic colorectal cancer, while bevacizumab plus trastuzumab with capecitabine or taxanes has been studied in HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer. This specific four-drug combination is used off-label in selected HER2-positive, HER2-expressing, or mixed histology gastrointestinal malignancies in practice and exploratory settings; there is no unique brand name for the combination.
