Capecitabine + oxaliplatin + cetuximab is a combination chemotherapy regimen used primarily for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer, particularly in patients with wild-type KRAS tumors. Capecitabine is an oral prodrug of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) that inhibits DNA synthesis in rapidly dividing cells. Oxaliplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent that causes DNA crosslinking and apoptosis.
