Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CAR-T-19 is an investigational CD19-targeted chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by Immunotech Applied Science (also known as EternaBio). This cell therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's T cells to express a chimeric antigen receptor that specifically targets CD19, a protein expressed on the surface of B cells and most B-cell malignancies. Once re-infused into the patient, these engineered T cells recognize and eliminate CD19-positive malignant B cells. The therapy is part of Immunotech's CAR-T-19 series and is intended for the treatment of various B-cell malignancies, including leukemias and lymphomas.
