Overview

This is a combination therapy consisting of four active pharmaceutical ingredients: - **Carbamazepine** is an anticonvulsant and mood-stabilizing drug primarily used to treat epilepsy, neuropathic pain, and bipolar disorder. It works mainly by inhibiting voltage-gated sodium channels in neuronal membranes, stabilizing hyperexcited nerve cells and reducing synaptic transmission. - **Ceftriaxone** is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis through binding to penicillin-binding proteins. - **Diazepam** is a benzodiazepine with anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant, and sedative properties. It enhances the effect of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) at the GABA-A receptor. - **Mannitol** is an osmotic diuretic commonly used to reduce intracranial pressure or treat cerebral edema. It increases plasma osmolality leading to movement of water from tissues into the blood. There are no known fixed-dose combination products containing all four agents together; this listing represents their concurrent use rather than a single branded or generic product.
