Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of carboplatin (a platinum-containing drug), docetaxel (a taxane agent), and Endostar (recombinant human endostatin). Carboplatin and docetaxel work as chemotherapeutic agents, while Endostar is a vascular endothelial growth factor inhibitor that specifically acts on microvascular endothelial cells to inhibit tumor angiogenesis. This combination aims to provide both cytotoxic effects against cancer cells and anti-angiogenic effects to cut off tumor blood supply.
