Overview

A combination therapy consisting of carboplatin (a platinum-based chemotherapy agent), motesanib (a small-molecule antagonist of vascular endothelial growth factor receptors 1, 2, and 3, platelet-derived growth factor receptor, and Kit), paclitaxel (a taxane chemotherapy agent), and panitumumab (a fully human anti-epidermal growth factor receptor monoclonal antibody). This combination has been investigated in clinical trials for advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
