Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination of carboplatin and verubulin. Carboplatin is an FDA-approved alkylating agent used primarily for treating advanced ovarian cancer. Verubulin is an investigational antineoplastic agent that functions as a small-molecule inhibitor of microtubule formation and is not a substrate for multidrug resistance pumps. The combination has been studied with findings that verubulin's pharmacokinetic parameters remain similar whether used as monotherapy or in combination with carboplatin.
