A chemotherapy combination regimen consisting of carboplatin (a platinum-based alkylating agent) and vincristine (a vinca alkaloid). This combination is primarily used in pediatric oncology, especially for the treatment of low-grade gliomas (LGGs) and other childhood cancers. The regimen has shown significant activity in both recurrent and newly diagnosed progressive LGGs, with objective response rates of 52% in recurrent disease and 62% in newly diagnosed patients.
