Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy regimen used in multiple myeloma treatment. It consists of an induction phase with carfilzomib, cyclophosphamide, and dexamethasone (CAR-CY-DEX), followed by a conditioning regimen with carfilzomib and high-dose melphalan before autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT), and sometimes followed by maintenance therapy with carfilzomib and dexamethasone. This regimen has been studied in both newly diagnosed multiple myeloma patients and for those with relapsed disease requiring salvage therapy.
